Learners will study milestones such as traditional textiles, indigenous crafts, and the establishment of design institutions like NID. The course highlights cultural, political, and economic factors influencing Indian design identity. Through visual analysis, case studies, and documentation, learners will understand how these moments contributed to India’s design ethos.
