Here's a reflection on my journey, the insights I’ve gathered with a mix of gratitude, nervousness, surrealism, and immense pride.

I'm Neha Singh, a passionate research and product designer with a Master’s degree in Design (M.Des) from NIFT Mumbai, specializing in Design for Society, Lifestyle, and Accessories Design. With over five years of experience in product and design research as well as serving as a Design Consultant. I have built a strong foundation as a dedicated professional focused on delivering sustainable, human-centered design solutions, especially within the social impact space. My diverse upbringing: growing up in a defense family and attending various central government schools instilled in me values of sincerity, discipline, and adaptability. These experiences taught me to interact meaningfully with people from varied backgrounds, which enriched my ability to empathize and design with inclusivity in mind. Throughout my journey, I’ve thrived on exploring new environments, engaging with diverse communities, and continuously developing my skills in communication, collaboration, time management, and leadership. I have successfully led and contributed to a wide range of design projects, developing a systems-level understanding of service design, systems thinking, and strategic design implementation—tools that have enabled me to drive meaningful and measurable outcomes across organizational sectors. Design, for me, becomes most powerful when approached through a social lens. I am inspired by brands and services that prioritize sustainability and Human-centric values, and I consistently seek opportunities to apply design thinking in ways that promote critical problem-solving and social innovation. My academic focus on Design for Society and my passion for integrating aesthetics, research, mentorship , sustainability, and trend analysis into design solutions fuel my creative drive. I excel in managing complex projects, leading teams, and crafting thoughtful, functional, and aesthetically engaging solutions for both digital and physical products. My ability to balance creativity with purpose allows me to design for impact, not just innovation. I’m now seeking a challenging opportunity where I can continue to grow, learn, and contribute meaningfully to an organization’s success. My goal is to be a trusted and valuable contributor- driving innovation, supporting impactful outcomes, and making a lasting, positive difference through design.
