Parth Raval

I am a design academic and applied researcher working across product design, system-level thinking, and immersive technologies. With 7+ years of experience spanning academia, industry, and government-linked projects, my work focuses on converting complex socio-technical challenges into deployable, human-centred design solutions. My research and teaching integrate design research, advanced prototyping, and digital twin–based validation, particularly for large-scale public and institutional systems. I have led and contributed to industry–academia–government collaborations, where design outcomes have been implemented in real operational environments. Alongside research, I contribute to design education, curriculum development, and laboratory planning, and have mentored student projects that progressed to IPR filings, government funding, and applied deployment. My interests include human–product–environment systems, immersive media, and applied design research, with a strong focus on bridging pedagogy and real-world impact. Open to academic collaboration, funded research, and applied design initiatives.
