Is running after perfection really a bad thing…?
Or are designers just expected to create magic faster every single day?”
As a graphic designer, perfection was never about ego for me.
It’s about caring. Caring about the alignment, the typography, the balance, the feeling a design gives before someone even reads it.
But lately, the industry is moving so fast that sometimes quality is expected at the speed of quantity.
More posts. More revisions. More output. Less time to think.
And honestly, that’s the struggle.
Because good design takes patience.
The details people ignore are usually the same details that make the design feel right.
I’m still learning the balance — knowing when to polish, when to stop, and when to let creativity breathe without killing it with pressure.
But one thing I know for sure:
A designer chasing perfection isn’t wasting time.
He’s respecting the craft.
